In honor of National Fortune Cookie Day, we present these easy and fun chocolate dipped fortune cookies!!
These make really cute party favors (colors can easily be adjusted for baby showers, weddings, kids parties etc) and kids love helping to make these!!
Ingredients:
Packaged fortune cookies (each box has about 12 cookies)
Colored chocolate (or candy melts)
Sprinkles, Non-pareils, colored sugar, etc...
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Temper or melt the chocolate in small bowls in the microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring until smooth. Dip the rounded side of the fortune cookies and shake off excess.
Place on parchment paper and immediately decorate with sprinkles.
Let sit at room temperature until chocolate is set.
Once dry, place in clear cello bag with colorful ribbon if using as party favors!
