If you've ever tried to temper chocolate at home, you know how frustrating it can be if not done properly! If you melt chocolate then simply let it cool, it will set as a dull brown mass with a texture that's chalky and grainy. Tempered chocolate, on the other hand, is shiny, even-colored, crisp and smooth tasting. The key to tempering is to control the temperature of the melted chocolate very precisely. To do so, the right equipment is essential. With this tabletop machine, the process of tempering is simplified.
The improved American Chocolate Mould Co. (ACMC, many time incorrectly referred to as ACME) Table Top Temperer features state-of-the-art electronic circuitry designed for efficient, reliable and durable continuous operation. It includes convenient digital temperature setting and readout. Perfect for beginners and professionals alike!
The ACMC table top chocolate temperer is very similar to Hilliards Little Dipper (smaller capacity to Hillard, with plastic housing instead of stainless steel). So, if you are familiar with using Hilliard's Lil Dipper you will be extremely comfortable with this (less expensive!) machine.
Please note that the ACMC table top chocolate temperer is NOT a fully automatic tempering machine. It is a semi-automatic machine best suited for individuals that are experienced at tempering chocolate by hand, otherwise there will be a learning curve as you learn how to temper chocolate while using the machine. If you are new to chocolate tempering, or you will be training employees to use the machine, you may want to consider a fully automatic machine. Please contact us so that we can help you find the right machine for you!

QUESTION: Is the ACMC tabletop temperer available in 220/240v for export?
ANSWER: Yes, the ACMC can be upgraded to 220/240v for international use. Please click here to see the 220/240v ACMC Tabletop Temperer for export.
QUESTION: Can the ACMC be used in other 110v countries (like Mexico and Central America)?
ANSWER: While it is possible the machine will work there, the fluctuation of power voltage (current spikes) in these countries can damage the machine. Therefore, use of this 110-120v machine outside of the US and Canada will void the manufacturers warranty.
