Chocolate Banana Bread Balls! Who knew that a simple covering of chocolate can totally transform a regular snack into a mind-blowing dessert? Well, I guess I already knew that. Chocolate rocks like that. I am a chocoholic. I am not ashamed. The outcome of this recipe is out of this world. Especially if you leave them out at room temperate after the chocolate hardens completely. Try it then and wow it’s incredible. The muffin inside becomes very soft and it really tastes like I would imagine a cake ball or pop to taste like. I could be wrong of course since I’ve never actually had one… but seriously, it’s worth a try! Especially since it’s just so easy to make too! Ingredients •5 muffins- banana bread muffins •4 oz. cream cheese •1.5 cup dark chocolate chips Instructions •Crumble the muffins in a bowl, make sure there are no big pieces left – leave it very crumbly. Add softened cream cheese to the bowl and incorporate well. I used my hands. •Put plastic wrap over the bowl and set aside to harden a bit. •Wet your hands and roll the mixture into small bowls (1 or 2?, no bigger than that) and place the rolled balls onto parchment paper. Stick in the fridge to let it set and harden. •Once the balls are cooled, temper chocolate until melted. Take the balls out and dip each one in the tempered chocolate (I used a toothpick and a fork to help) and put back on parchment paper. •Once all balls are covered in chocolate, put them back into the fridge to harden. •Store in a air-tight container.
