One thing that I like to make is Peanut Brittle. It's easy to make and makes a nice hostess gift if you are invited out, especially if you dip it in tempered chocolate. I said, tempered chocolate, not microwaved as the recipe below suggest. If you are just eating it at home, fine, microwave away. But, if bringing it to a party, temper your chocolate- looks professional that way. And, I have never had anyone turn their nose up at a pretty little box of it yet!
